There are two basic roles of drivetrain; distribution of power from engine to the wheels in similar value and increasing or decreasing the torque of this power. Differential,  transmission and transfer are three types of drivetrain. Transfer case is applicable in 4-wheel and all wheel drive automobiles.

Differential Service

Importance:

It is basically a kind of gear box and it is usually situated in between the drive wheels an automobile. It controls the turning speed of drive wheels. With the passage of time, usage and excessive heat influence the performance of lubes in differential. This not only affect the performance of the gear box but leads to an early wear if remain unchanged. It is also helpful to keep the drive wheel tires sturdier for long time.

This is service is provided as per the directions of the manufacturer of the automobile. Old and used fluid is replaced with the new one.

Transfer Case Service

Importance

Transfer case is also a type of gear box that is present in those vehicles that are 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive. In 4-wheel drive its function is to supply power from engine to all the 4 axles. On the other hand it carries the power from one wheel to another. There is a fluid present in transfer case that not only keeps its working smooth but also maintains its low temperature. This fluid is required to be replaced regularly otherwise this will cause to wear the transfer box before time.

Services Provided:

This is service is provided as per the directions of the manufacturer of the automobile. Old and used fluid is replaced with the new one. Fluid used for this purpose is always of some special kind.
